Once the scholars of Nerekhall, with their penchant for black magic - above all the respected magician Gargan Sinistrael - plunged large parts of Terrinoth into chaos. The city has recovered surprisingly well from these dark days. But now, in dark alleys and corners, ominous forces are stirring again.
This expansion for Descent again comes with a wealth of heroes, monsters and classes. In order not to let you sink in chaos as well, we at Feldherr have come up with a solution. The foam tray set for the original Descent: Journeys in the Dark Second Edition – Shadow of Nerekhall board game box, divides into two superimposed foam trays (dimensions: 285 mm x 285 mm x 60 mm height and 285 mm x 285 mm x 30 mm height). The set also includes a matching topper made of the same material. We only use high-quality, chlorine- and acid-free foam.
The top floor hosts all 16 Hero and Monster Figures. They will find a safe place, upright or lying, in compartments precisely tailored to fit them. This protects them from abrasion, which can be very annoying, especially with painted figures. On the other hand, it protects the miniatures from bending sensitive parts such as claws, swords or lances. Two additional compartments are used to sort the game cards by either small or bridge size. There is also a compartment for the Power Dices, one for the plastic stands and one for the tokens.
The lower floor establishes more order. To help you find the right map tiles, we have divided this foam tray into four small and one large compartment. This allows you to sort the tiles more clearly. This saves time and nerves which you'll probably need for your next adventure. The Hero Sheets are safe here too. The Rulebook/Quest Guide lies on the foam topper.
Since both inlays have a total height of 95mm, the lid of the game box protrudes accordingly.
