Inside the miniature-precisely cut compartment the Venator-class Star Destroyer model is well protected. Surrounded by soft foam, the delicate edges and other fine details of the miniature are spared from damage. The colors are also safe from scratches and paint abrasion.

In addition to the compartment for the miniature, there are three other compartments on the insert. The large compartment provides room for the base and fin, as well as the ship and upgrade cards.
